Material Selection
Selected walnut or other solid hardwood is reviewed for colour, figure, width, edge character, natural character, and overall suitability for the project.
Design Refinement
The dimensions, selected layout, base direction, finish approach, and key details are reviewed before the commission moves into production.
Build & Finish
The table is prepared, joined, shaped, sanded, finished, and reviewed through each stage of the build.
Delivery & Placement
Once complete, the piece is reviewed, prepared for delivery and final placement, and supported with care guidance for the years ahead.

Private Walnut Inventory
Beaver Hardwood maintains a private reserve of walnut slabs and boards, allowing each table to begin with material suited to its scale, character, and intended setting.
Tone, figure, width, and edge character are considered before the selected material and proposed layout are reviewed with you and approved for production.

Proportion, base direction, and finish are refined before the build begins.
Once the walnut is selected, the table direction is refined around the room, intended use, seating needs, and overall visual weight of the piece.
